Our Ceramics BFA program guides students in uncovering their creative potential through rigorous projects, constructive feedback, seminars, hands-on workshops, off-campus excursions, and personalized mentorship. Second-year students explore sculptural and functional ceramics, mastering wheel-throwing, hand-forming techniques, mold creation, surface treatments, and kiln operations. These technical skills merge with conceptual development and artistic vision, framed within both modern and traditional ceramic arts. Third-year students expand their practice beyond the studio, undertaking professional commissions and collaborative community initiatives. The Materials Research course incorporates digital tools for investigating clay compositions, glaze formulations, and innovative firing methods.
