The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art cultivates visually skilled artists by providing comprehensive training in conceptual, technical, historical, and professional dimensions of visual arts through diverse studio and academic coursework. Our Studio Art program features seven specialized disciplines, offering exceptional learning opportunities in Ceramics, Drawing, Expanded Media, Metals, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture. These disciplines serve as pathways for students to connect their artistic exploration with other mediums and interests across the Studio curriculum. The B.F.A. program concludes with a culminating Thesis course, final Thesis Portfolio, and a Thesis Exhibition. Designed to accommodate varied student aspirations, the program equips graduates for professional artistic careers and arts-related fields. The School of Art and Design promotes creative and scholarly work that enhances students' conceptual and technical skills while nurturing strong visual communication foundations.
This course provides students with hands-on professional experience in studio arts while earning academic credit for their field-related activities.

First-time college applicants are required to graduate or have graduated from a foreign secondary school with an academic profile equivalent to that of a U.S. high school curriculum.
Graduate with the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.

We strongly encourage anyone who is not offered freshman admission to attend another college, complete 30 hours of transferable credit with a minimum GPA of a 2.25, and apply for transfer admission.
