The graduate program in Rhetoric and Composition at Purdue is located in the Department of English. Our graduates work in a variety of different professional positions as: faculty members, writing program and writing center administrators, graduate program directors, department heads and other higher administrative positions, editors, usability experience designers, and professional and technical writers/managers.

We support our students throughout their time in our program through: extensive mentoring, teaching, tutoring, and administration experience, opportunities for research support and cooperative study, resources for preliminary exams, dissertation mentoring, and a dedicated, faculty-led course for support during the job market year.
