The Business Information Systems program is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in business with a focus on information technology. The major satisfies the business sector's need for well-rounded technology professionals. As technology managers, graduates of this program are responsible for delivering information services to the end-user while cost-effectively administering their organization's information resources.
Program Learning Outcomes
Information Competency: Obtain information related to the profession using traditional and electronic sources. Synthesize the information into written or oral business reports. Critical Thinking: Analyze business situations and recommend solutions or plans for improvement.
Computational Skills: Analyze data and prepare common business and personal financial reports.
Students must have completed High School/Secondary School Diploma. Applicant must have TOEFL score of 61 ibt, or 6 on the IELTS test. Deadlines to Apply: Fall - June 15; Spring – November 15.
