The Management Information Systems program emphasizes technology-driven approaches for investigating, assessing, combining, and presenting business information to support data-driven decision-making and organizational leadership. The curriculum covers fundamental theories, guidelines, and methodologies for: (1) gathering, processing, and maintaining data, (2) performing business analysis, (3) effectively communicating findings, and (4) aligning data analytics with corporate strategy.
Participants in this program can complete nine credit hours of supplementary coursework in operational business domains including accounting, financial management, sales, risk assessment, and logistics.
