The School of Information Sciences offers an undergraduate major in information sciences, along with minors in information sciences, user experience design, and—in collaboration with the Tombras School of Advertising and Public Relations and the School of Journalism and Electronic Media—a minor in social media analytics. The school also features a graduate program designed to train librarians and information professionals for diverse information environments. Our BSIS program equips students with the skills to efficiently manage, interpret, and leverage information for decision-making in both public and private sectors. With organizations generating vast quantities of data, professionals skilled in information sciences are increasingly sought after to analyze data, transform it into actionable insights, and guide strategic planning.
