The Comparative Health Sciences program provides interdisciplinary graduate education leading to M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. It welcomes students passionate about tackling modern complex challenges through cross-disciplinary methods. Participating faculty specialize in diverse areas including microbiology, ecology, immunology, nutrition, food science, bioengineering, veterinary medicine, public health, human medicine, bioinformatics, mathematical modeling, microbiome studies, neuroscience, and more.
While promoting collaborative supervision across fields, the program also accommodates traditional single-discipline research. With a global perspective, it emphasizes diverse thinking and innovation. Active student engagement and contribution to the program are highly encouraged.
