The physician assistant program, leading to a Master of Science in Health Sciences, equips graduates to provide outstanding clinical care, champion diversity and inclusion, advocate for patients, take leadership roles in advancing the profession, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. This intensive 24-month full-time curriculum is structured into academic and clinical training phases. The 12-month academic (didactic) phase covers four core areas: foundational sciences, behavioral sciences, clinical medicine, and pre-clinical skills training, supplemented by standardized patient interactions to build clinical readiness. During the subsequent 12-month clinical phase, students complete rotations across diverse healthcare settings, delivering patient care under licensed practitioners' guidance. Mandatory rotations span internal medicine, surgery, primary care, pediatrics, women's health, emergency medicine, behavioral health, with additional elective opportunities available.
