The Workforce and Organizational Development Ph.D. program -- previously known as Occupational & Technical Studies -- offers three specialization areas: technology education, career and technical education, and human resources training. This doctoral program is available both on-campus and via the University's online learning platform. Participants are required to attend two summer Institute sessions on the Norfolk campus, each lasting two weeks. This degree program aims to equip future university professors, career and technical education administrators, and training department leaders across business, industry, and government sectors.
