Select from four specialized tracks aligned with professional aspirations: human nutrition/pre-medical studies, allied health professions, dietetics, or community nutrition. You'll engage in practical, research-focused learning designed to prepare you effectively for healthcare careers. Alumni often advance to medical, biological science, or dietetics programs, while others enter professional healthcare training to become physician assistants or rehabilitation specialists.
Human Nutrition/Pre-Medical Studies
Build comprehensive knowledge of health maintenance and disease prevention while completing requirements for medical or dental education. Beyond gaining insights into nutrition's role in chronic disease development, graduates acquire techniques to guide individuals toward sustainable healthy lifestyles. Dental school candidates will examine nutrition's effects on skeletal growth and oral health. The program features challenging science coursework including biochemistry, physiology, biology, and anatomy. A unique 3+1 accelerated pathway is available through our partnership with OSU's College of Osteopathic Medicine.
