The interdisciplinary Ancient History and Classics major is a collaborative program between the Classics and History Departments. This dual-focus major bridges two interconnected disciplines: Classics explores the civilizations of ancient Greece and Rome along with their immediate cultural influences, while Ancient History examines the political, military, and cultural evolution of these societies from the Bronze Age through the dawn of the Middle Ages.
