Our education system critically requires additional school psychologists to enhance learning outcomes, mental health support, safer environments, improved family-school partnerships, and greater accountability. If you're motivated by this pressing need, now is the perfect time to act. The country faces a shortage of trained professionals in this high-demand field.

NSU's Psy.D. in School Psychology equips you to address students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs while supporting families, educators, and staff. Work alongside distinguished faculty with extensive experience and national recognition. We maintain intentionally small cohorts - typically about 10 students annually - ensuring unparalleled faculty guidance and mentorship. (Many NSU graduates highlight this close faculty-student collaboration as a defining program strength.)
