The Parks, Recreation & Tourism Management program focuses on designing and overseeing parks, recreational spaces, sports facilities, tourist destinations, and leisure programs across diverse settings for people of all ages and backgrounds. Students can choose from three specialized tracks: Parks and Natural Resource Recreation, Program Management, or Sustainable Tourism. In our rapidly moving world, recreational activities and leisure time play a crucial role in maintaining both physical health and mental wellness. Through the PRTM curriculum, students gain expertise in developing and implementing sustainable, accessible experiences for communities worldwide by applying top-tier business strategies in programming, promotion, and financial planning. Graduates leave equipped to positively impact lives by designing exceptional recreational and nature-oriented initiatives, educational opportunities, and events that promote relaxation, strengthen community bonds, and tackle pressing social issues—including public wellness, youth behavior challenges, and economic resilience.
Freshman applicants must submit an official high school transcript (academic record)
IELTS Academic: 6.5 or higher (minimum of 6.5 in each sub score)
TOEFL IBT: 85 or higher (minimum of 18 in each sub score)
PTE Academic: 62 or higher (minimum of 53 in each sub score)
English Composition I and II from an accredited U.S. College or University: Grade of C or higher
