The Art and Design program caters to creative, inquisitive individuals looking to hone their skills for real-world applications. These practical applications, enhanced by aesthetic appeal and functionality, embody what we define as design. Our curriculum fosters analytical thinking, blending artistic and design fundamentals with both conventional techniques and cutting-edge technologies to create impactful solutions. The outcome is compelling visual narratives that serve clients' needs. This major integrates core design principles with specialized concentrations including experimental fashion (e-fashion), textile product development, digital media (photography, videography, digital art), animation, and user experience (UX) design.
This degree enables students to merge distinctive Art Design coursework across disciplines like media arts (animation, digital imaging, interactive illustration, photography), textile arts (weaving, fiber crafts, surface patterning), and classical art disciplines (painting, sketching, printmaking, sculpture) with complementary degree pathways in the College of Design.
