Our Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Theatre Design and Technology provides diverse coursework, four years of exceptional production experiences, and cutting-edge facilities. Student work shines in productions from one of the country's premier performing arts programs, alongside our acclaimed Motion Pictures program. Our Design and Technology faculty are practicing professionals who maintain active careers as technicians and artists in regional theaters, national conferences, and educational institutions. They mentor students through hands-on collaboration in all facets of production design and management. Students can specialize in stage management, design, or technology, with each pathway blending foundational theater studies with creative design and technical theater training.

Qualification Requirements
To apply to Wright State University, you must have earned a certificate of completion from a secondary education school that would allow you to attend university in your home country. You should have studied mathematics and science subjects at the secondary level.
All transcripts must be submitted directly to your student application portal with university grading scale used to confer degree.
Students must submit their official transcript bearing the university stamp, hologram, seal, or university registrar's signature.
All students must truthfully report their full academic education history, past and current. Failure to do so will result in the delay of processing the application.
You must have a 2.5 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and a minimum score of English proficiency from one of these tests:

Students who show proof of successful completion of an Intensive English Program from an accredited Institution or program accepted by international admissions are exempt from the requirement to take an approved English Proficiency exam.
