This focused approach equips you with the forward-thinking skills and expertise necessary to thrive in academic and research careers.
The Public Health Policy and Management specialization trains students to: (1) utilize proper research methodologies to examine health policy and management concerns, (2) compile evidence to inform policy decisions and evaluate public initiatives that enhance population health and health equity, and (3) analyze various management theories and apply them to key challenges in healthcare and public health systems. This PhD concentration incorporates advanced methodological, policy, and management coursework from Wagner and Stern, alongside specialized public health policy and health services research classes at the School of Global Public Health.
