The Dental Hygiene Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree Program combines classroom instruction in dental and health sciences with practical clinical training. Students can complete this 78-credit program through an accelerated 17-month option (PDF), traditional two-year track (PDF), or extended three-year plan (PDF). If you will have completed your country's pre-university education (equivalent to U.S. 12th Grade) before arriving to NYU, or if any of the following apply to you, you are eligible to apply to NYU as a first-year applicant:

You are applying from countries with school leaving qualifications based on the British educational model, and will have completed the A-level equivalent (neither O-levels nor (I)GCSE results will be sufficient for admission), or
