Gain comprehensive knowledge of building design and architectural technology by investigating innovative materials and construction methods as you progress toward a professional career. The Architectural Technology, B.S. program covers architectural design, building systems, environmental solutions, and project management utilizing cutting-edge software and equipment. You may also customize your degree by selecting a Construction Management specialization.
In your initial two years, you'll learn architectural history fundamentals and construction principles while honing skills in design evaluation, technical drawing, and 3-D modeling. The final two years focus on completing a culminating project that integrates all elements of building design and architectural technology.
Acquire valuable professional experience through national and international design workshops, community collaborations, construction site visits, and global summer study programs in architecturally significant cities worldwide.
For enhanced career readiness, the School of Architecture and Design provides an accelerated pathway to the Master of Architecture degree, allowing undergraduate students to start graduate coursework during their last two years of bachelor's study.

To be considered for admission to New York Institute of Technology, you must have satisfactorily completed high school (secondary school) with at least a B average or a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale.

Mid-year and final grades will be required.
Proof of high school graduation.
Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, Duolingo English Test, or IB English scores).
Two letters of recommendation.
A 300 to 350 word essay describing your career goals in the major you applied for and how attending New York Tech would further those goals.
