Our Earth and Environmental Science programs train the next generation of scientists to tackle pressing global challenges, from analyzing climate change impacts to detecting environmental pollutants and creating innovative cleanup solutions. Students explore human-coastal interactions, sustainable land use practices, water conservation strategies, and Earth's systems from its core to the atmosphere.
Through our Combined Degree option, undergraduates can take graduate-level courses during their final year, applying these "swing courses" toward both their Bachelor's and Master's degrees. This accelerated pathway typically lets students complete both degrees in just five years.
Career Paths Include: Geoscientist, Environmental Engineer, Hydrologist, Atmospheric Researcher, Archaeological Specialist, Petroleum Technician, Meteorology Professional, and Sustainability Consultant.
