The Environmental Studies program equips students to tackle today's pressing ecological issues with innovative and analytical approaches. Offering two specialized tracks - Sustainability & Society (S&S) and Conservation Science & Management (CSM) - the program cultivates professionals prepared to confront environmental challenges both in their work and daily lives. Students learn to synthesize ecological understanding across scientific disciplines, social sciences, arts, and humanities. Through experiential learning, fieldwork, and solution-oriented teaching, the curriculum emphasizes resolving multifaceted problems encompassing scientific, societal, political, cultural, and ethical considerations.
