The Department of Health & Human Development at Montana State University provides a holistic K-12 health enhancement program that integrates health education with physical education. This modern curriculum promotes healthy living through movement mastery, prioritizing fitness, lifestyle management, and self-awareness across physical, mental, emotional, and social dimensions. Beyond teaching conventional movement techniques and sports fundamentals, the program cultivates personal wellness while developing essential cognitive abilities like analytical reasoning, judgment formation, and solution-finding for both aspiring educators and their pupils.
Freshmen will be considered for admission on the basis of their secondary school record and their English proficiency. Applicants who can prove their English language proficiency and have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5/4.0 on a U.S. scale will qualify for admission.
