MSU's School Psychology Program provides an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in education with a focus on School Psychology, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Psychology specializing in School Psychology. Students also earn a non-terminal Master of Science (M.S.) in psychometry while pursuing either the Ed.S. or Ph.D. degrees.
The faculty in School Psychology are dedicated to equipping students with comprehensive curricular experiences that foster development across four key training areas: I) Professional School Psychology, covering Professional Orientation, Assessment, and Consultation/Interventions; II) Research and Statistics; III) Psychological Foundations; and at the doctoral level, IV) a Focus Area. These domains outline the specific goals faculty aim to achieve through the School Psychology Programs.
