The School of Animal Sciences provides advanced degree programs focusing on areas such as breeding and genetics, metabolic and growth physiology, dairy science, meat processing technology, nutrition for ruminant and non-ruminant animals, reproductive biology, and biotechnological applications.

Studies are conducted across multiple species including beef and dairy cattle, equines, swine, ovine, caprine, poultry, and various laboratory animals.
