The Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Sport Performance equips future educators to demonstrate excellence in PK-12 environments and professionals who foster quality physical activity programs for all ages. This curriculum focuses heavily on practical learning through fieldwork, internships, and career advancement opportunities.

The Health and Physical Education specialization is a five-year track designed for students pursuing Ohio teaching certification in both health and physical education. It features numerous school-based practicums across diverse districts, culminating in a full student teaching semester. Participants gain teaching experience in both disciplines and qualify to take multi-age licensure exams. Those enrolled in combined undergraduate/graduate programs may count certain graduate courses toward their B.S.E. requirements.
