Kinesiology offers excellent preparation for various allied health professions. Graduates can pursue careers such as medical school, physical/occupational therapy, athletic training, corporate wellness, chiropractic care, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, and other related fields. The Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology provides three specialization tracks: Exercise Science, Performance Psychology, or Physical Education. Required credit hours are detailed in the program descriptions. All concentrations require completion of 120 semester hours for the degree. Students must also earn 48 upper-division credits (3000/4000-level courses). A minimum 2.75 GPA is required for most upper-division SPMD courses. ENGL 1110G, Area II General Education requirements, Kinesiology coursework, and Approved Electives all demand a C- grade or higher.
