The Doctor of Musical Arts program equips students with advanced professional training in musical performance or composition. This rigorous curriculum combines intensive practical studies in the major discipline with comprehensive academic coursework in musicology and music theory. Earning this doctoral degree demonstrates that graduates possess the refined skills, deep knowledge, and leadership capabilities needed to excel as professionals in their musical specialization.
   All applicants are required to submit original transcripts and an official English translation. We will not accept hard copy transcripts during the application process. They must be uploaded to your application.
   If you are accepted to Peabody, we will ask you to request that your school send a hard copy, final transcript before orientation.
   Transcripts submitted with your application should include:
       Degree earned (if graduated)
       GPA
       Dates of attendance/graduation and grading scale
       Notarized English translation
