This interdisciplinary major provides an introduction to archaeological principles, the examination of artifacts, and findings from archaeological studies spanning prehistoric and early historical eras across both hemispheres. You'll collaborate with faculty members at the forefront of new archaeological breakthroughs, engage in field expeditions, and investigate collections housed in our Archaeological Museum. The museum boasts a rich variety of artifacts from ancient civilizations including Greece, Rome, Egypt, Mesopotamia, Palestine, and Mesoamerica.
The cross-departmental Undergraduate Archaeology Program familiarizes students with archaeological methodologies, artifact analysis techniques, and discoveries from excavations covering ancient and early historical periods globally.
Student must have high school transcript.
English language Requirements:
Students must have Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) are 26 (Reading), 26 (Listening), 22 (Writing), and 25 (Speaking). A score of 7.0 or higher on each band is expected on IELTS.
