The UIndy program provides students with practical archaeological training, primarily focusing on North American artifacts. Upon completing the program, graduates will be equipped with the skills to conduct professional excavations globally. While field techniques form the core of the curriculum, students also receive comprehensive instruction in theoretical approaches and research methodologies.
Anthropology faculty at UIndy recognize the importance of practical experience and professional connections for students pursuing careers in anthropology and archaeology.
