IUP's Culinary Arts program prepares you for a professional career in the food service field. This intensive sixteen-month (four-semester) curriculum holds national accreditation from the American Culinary Federation.
Students complete twelve months (three semesters: Fall, Spring, and Summer) of hands-on training at our culinary campus, followed by a paid externship in their final term.
The Culinary Arts foundation is required for all culinary pathways. Students graduate with a Certificate in Culinary Arts or can pursue further education in Hospitality, Nutrition, or Dietetics to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree.

Qualification Requirements

Official transcripts from a high school or other secondary school in English are required for all students.
If you wish to transfer credits from another college or university, make sure to indicate that you are a transfer student on the application and forward your college transcripts, also. You will receive an evaluation of your credits during Orientation.
