The School Psychology specialization program holds accreditation from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), the Council for Accreditation of Teacher Educator Preparation (CAEP), and the Illinois State Board of Education. Our program delivers an extensive curriculum, top-tier training, and carefully supervised practical experiences aligned with NASP's 2020 Professional Standards. Focused on the scientist-practitioner training approach, our specialist program aims to equip graduates with fundamental skills for careers as school psychologists in both public and private educational settings. Students can earn this specialist degree through three years of study, including two years of full-time on-campus coursework followed by a nine-month internship.
