The 30-credit (minimum) non-thesis master's program in Elementary Education blends teaching methods with subject matter, tailored for elementary educators. This program enables current teachers or certified educators with prior classroom experience to gain specialized knowledge in STEM fields (or individual subjects like mathematics, geology, physical sciences, or biology), math education, ESL/TESOL, foreign languages, English/language arts, history, social studies, educational technology, or other Idaho State Board of Education-approved elementary certification or endorsement areas. Through core courses and additional studies, advanced Elementary Education professionals will fulfill the standards for experienced educators and meet CAEP accreditation requirements at the advanced level.
