The AS degree in computer engineering technology equips you for entry-level roles as a computer technician. The program emphasizes troubleshooting and fixing hardware and software issues across micro, mini, and mainframe systems. With some extra specialized training, graduates can pursue careers as field technicians or in-house repair specialists. To be eligible for admission to an associate degree program at HCC, applicants must have the equivalent of one of the following: high school equivalency certificate (GED), Associate or higher degree, standard high school diploma.
