The Master in Public Policy (MPP) program equips you with a comprehensive skill set for impactful public service careers. In your initial year, core courses build expertise across essential domains: Economics, Ethics, Leadership, Negotiation, Political Science, Policy Development, and Data Analysis. The first-year experience concludes with Spring Exercise - an intensive simulation where you synthesize core concepts through practical application. Typically, students pursue policy-focused internships during the following summer. Your second year culminates with the Policy Analysis Exercise, a hands-on capstone project. Our academic setting fosters intellectual curiosity, allowing you to delve into diverse policy specializations. The 12-credit Development (DEV) concentration addresses critical challenges in: Economic empowerment for marginalized communities, Enhancing public service systems and governance, Formulating growth-oriented economic policies, Fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems, and Developing sustainable poverty alleviation strategies.
