Scholars in this field investigate topics ranging from material culture and post-Soviet industrial systems to geopolitics, religious studies, gender identity, food systems, natural resource governance, mining sectors, human migration patterns, racial dynamics, post-colonial studies, and global environmental governance with a focus on ecological equity.
