This program equips students for transferring to four-year universities or pursuing careers in dance. Participants develop the expertise, techniques, and competencies needed to audition as professional dancers, company performers, or choreographers. The curriculum requires completion of all core courses, totaling 24.5 to 25 units. Program Learning Outcomes: After finishing this program, graduates will demonstrate the ability to combine technical dance abilities with proper body alignment and muscle control, while analyzing different dance styles within their historical and cultural frameworks.

Secondary or high school school students - submit proof of completion of secondary education by submitting your transcripts, a graduation certificate, or diploma. If you have not yet graduated from your secondary school, you may apply with in-progress transcripts and must submit final documents showing completion prior to enrollment at GCC.
