The bachelor's program in elementary education equips future educators to teach students from pre-K to fifth grade. Grounded in research and proven methodologies, this program covers early childhood education, elementary instruction, and teacher training. Participants gain expertise in both subject matter and teaching methods across all elementary school subjects. Additional focus areas include English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), urban education, and dual language immersion programs.
This curriculum creatively blends visual arts, theater, and music with digital technologies. Through comprehensive hands-on experiences, students develop the skills to choose and apply age-appropriate technologies, materials, and instructional approaches for diverse learning environments across various grade levels.
