The Master of Science in Public Policy program caters to students possessing robust analytical skills, typically gained through studies in engineering, natural sciences, or quantitatively-focused social sciences and humanities. This graduate program emphasizes fields where scientific and technological developments carry substantial policy implications or where technical data plays a crucial role in policy formulation. The School offers specializations in science and technology policy, environmental and energy policy, information and telecommunications policy, and regional economic development policy. Structured as a two-year, full-time curriculum, the M.S. PUBP targets individuals with solid analytical foundations, similar to those acquired in engineering, natural sciences, or quantitative social science and humanities disciplines.
Applicants who have completed a BS degree or equivalent in any field and have an interest in the public policy emphases of our school can apply.
The minimum score for graduate admission required by Georgia Tech is: IELTS: 7.0 Overall Band score and minimum Component Band scores of: 6.5 Reading, 6.5 Listening, 6.5 Speaking, 5.5 Writing,
The School of Public Policy reviews applications for the Masters program twice per year. The spring application deadline is October 1st, fall priority deadline is February 15th, and fall space available deadline is March 15.
