Examine questions of human dignity while analyzing the historical developments, societal initiatives, approaches, and systems established to uphold human rights in today's interconnected world. By connecting human rights with legal frameworks, security concerns, gender research, migration challenges, economic growth, public health, safety protocols, anti-trafficking efforts, humanitarian aid, regional studies, and other areas, you'll develop a comprehensive understanding of human rights across personal, national, and global contexts.
Acquire practical experience through fieldwork opportunities and internships. You'll engage in diverse human rights investigations and advocacy initiatives by utilizing research facilities, attending expert talks, conferences, and film screenings. Alumni have secured roles with global NGOs, human rights advocacy groups, international relief organizations, government and intergovernmental bodies, corporate social responsibility sectors, human rights law practices, and educational institutions.
