This program equips students to become certified school counselors for pre-K through 12th grade. Approved by the Florida Department of Education, the curriculum is tailored for individuals holding a bachelor's degree outside the education field who aspire to earn school counseling certification. For those pursuing careers in agency or private practice settings, there's an additional pathway to obtain mental health counseling licensure. These students complete the core coursework while fulfilling extra requirements mandated by Florida's mental health counseling licensing board.
