Emory University's East Asian Studies Program operates within the Department of Russian and East Asian Languages and Cultures, organizing and facilitating events focused on China, Japan, Korea, and the wider East Asian region. The program brings together faculty experts across diverse fields including anthropology, literature, philosophy, political science, religious studies, history, and musicology.
Undergraduates can pursue either a major or minor in East Asian Studies through this program. Additionally, REALC offers major and minor options in Chinese and Japanese languages.

A score of 100 on the internet-based TOEFL and an overall band score of 7.5 on the IELTS is expected
