Geology is a diverse scientific field exploring Earth's formation, composition, and evolution. It examines the forces shaping our planet and their complex relationships. Professionals in this field are crucial for finding, using, and conserving natural resources while assessing environmental impacts and human-Earth interactions. This discipline investigates Earth's physical makeup, structural features, and the dynamic forces that transform them. A key focus involves tracing how Earth's components, systems, and life forms have evolved through time. By reconstructing our planet's past, geologists gain insights that help predict future geological developments. The Geology General program caters to students desiring broad geological knowledge or those pursuing careers that merge geology with business, law, communications, or workplace safety.
