The MS in Human Nutrition can be completed entirely in-person or fully online. Online students will attend classes simultaneously with their on-campus counterparts. All participants should be ready to move for their mandatory dietetic internship during the subsequent year.
Our Master of Science in Human Nutrition Program delivers comprehensive training in both standard and clinical nutrition for individuals and communities. This graduate program caters to bachelor's degree holders aspiring to become registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs) or those seeking deeper exploration of nutritional science and research.
Participants may choose between two paths: the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) Plus Partner Dietetic Internship route for RDN certification, or the Nutrition Sciences (NS) track for careers in research, industry, or further academic pursuits. Both options emphasize nutrition's interdisciplinary scientific foundations, equipping graduates with theoretical frameworks and methodologies for ongoing professional development.
The DPD Plus Partner Dietetic Internship track offers a streamlined two-year graduate pathway to RDN certification, bypassing the national internship matching process. Candidates from any undergraduate background may apply, provided they've completed prerequisite courses with a B grade or higher before enrollment.
