The Psychology Department aims to equip students with knowledge of both scientific and practical psychology methods and content. Classroom teaching serves as our main approach to fulfilling this objective. Our curriculum spans diverse psychology fields, with certain classes incorporating labs dedicated to experimental and statistical studies. Several courses are now transitioning to fully online or hybrid formats (combining online and in-person instruction). Additional educational experiences are provided through fieldwork, the Honors Program, hands-on learning, independent research, and internships. Our Internship Program offers supervised work placements for academic credit, with opportunities in human service agencies, community organizations, and business environments.
