At Ithaca, NY, students in the CAPS program explore China's historical background, governmental systems, economic landscape, social structures, and international affairs (with a focus on U.S.-China relations), while completing Mandarin language coursework as part of their standard studies. The Brittany and Adam J. Levinson China and Asia-Pacific Studies initiative delivers a distinctive educational experience, combining academic coursework on China's language, historical development, political framework, economic policies, societal norms, and global interactions with immersive opportunities—featuring three years in Ithaca, an optional term in Washington D.C., and a mandatory semester in Beijing.
Students completing their high school during the 2021-22 academic year or if they've graduated from high school but have earned fewer than 12 credits at a college or university are eligible for admission as first year students.
TOEFL - Score of 100 and above (Internet-based exam); 70 and above on the PTE Academic; IELTS - Score of 7.5.
