The Master of Social Work (MSW) is an Advanced Generalist program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), offering comprehensive training for diverse professional roles ranging from clinical practice to nonprofit management and policy reform. Grounded in social work principles, our curriculum actively combats oppression and racism while championing diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice throughout social work education and professional practice. The MSW Program employs a cohort-based structure to foster collaborative learning environments. Advanced Standing Option: Available to graduates with a BSW from an accredited institution within the last seven years, this intensive summer-start program delivers 39 credits across three semesters, including one elective course.
Our CSWE-accredited MSW program develops versatile social work professionals equipped to enhance community health, confront systemic inequalities, and advocate for social justice and human rights. Flexible study options include a traditional two-year track, accelerated Advanced Standing for BSW holders, part-time hybrid schedules, and a combined MSW/MPH degree. The full-time Advanced Standing pathway begins each May and can be completed in one year.
