The School of Nursing provides a blended post-baccalaureate Doctor of Nursing Practice program along with an entirely online post-master's DNP track. Graduates of the Doctor of Nursing Practice program will gain the skills to practice autonomously, assume nursing leadership roles, and revolutionize healthcare through research and implementation.
The hybrid post-baccalaureate DNP program accepts licensed registered nurses holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. This curriculum emphasizes evidence-based care, leadership development, healthcare policy and advocacy, teamwork across disciplines, and specialized clinical nursing practice. Students can choose from these specialty areas: adult/gerontology nurse practitioner, family nurse practitioner, healthcare systems leadership, or pediatric nurse practitioner. The online post-master's DNP program welcomes nurses with graduate degrees, concentrating on evidence-based methods, leadership, policy and advocacy, interdisciplinary cooperation, and advanced clinical nursing expertise.
