For practicing nurses holding a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Health Administration (MHA), this accelerated pathway facilitates advancement into sought-after executive nurse leadership positions. BSN-qualified nurses with an MBA or MHA can enter the Executive Nurse Leadership Doctor of Nursing Practice program by fulfilling 12 transition credits (four courses). These MSN-level classes provide foundational knowledge for smooth progression into the DNP curriculum. The Executive Nurse Leadership DNP equips nurses to guide teams, operate at the pinnacle of advanced practice, oversee clinical departments or service lines, influence health policy, or assume leadership positions across diverse healthcare and educational settings. Students may choose between a seven-semester full-time option or a 10-semester part-time study plan. New cohorts for the MBA/MHA to DNP Transition track commence every spring term.
