The Entrepreneurial Biotechnology (EB) program is a two-year Master of Science in Biology with an Entrepreneurial Biotechnology specialization, provided by Case Western Reserve University's Department of Biology. This program is developed in partnership with the CWRU School of Law and the Case School of Medicine, a top-tier biomedical research institution ranked 12th nationally for NIH funding among 122 medical schools. Students gain expertise in cutting-edge biotechnology, business fundamentals, and innovation strategies while developing entrepreneurial ventures—either with established companies or their own startups. The EB program facilitates access to mentors, advisors, collaborators, funding opportunities, and career pathways.

Bachelor's degree, preferably in one of the sciences (four-year degree). International students with less than the U.S. equivalent of a four-year degree that have taken additional coursework should contact a credentialing service to evaluate your credentials.
Acceptance by the Graduate Admissions Committee of the Department of Biology.
Acceptance by the Graduate School of the university.
A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5, with a grade point average of at least 2.9 in the sciences.
