Our two-year curriculum is designed to accommodate your personal goals, starting with an initial assessment test when you join the program. You'll need to complete at least 21 credit hours of classes, along with 12 hours of practical music instruction, demonstrate competency in a related foreign language, and present a lecture recital. Participation in multiple music ensembles every semester is mandatory. Our faculty members are committed to your personal growth and support pursuing external opportunities that enhance both your career skills and comprehensive education. Master's students can audition for the Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) program at Case Western Reserve University after completing three semesters, with eligible coursework transferring toward doctoral requirements if accepted.
