A PhD in Clinical Translational Science from Case Western Reserve University will provide you with an exceptional education to develop your career in clinical research, and prepare you for leadership roles in academia, government and private industry. In this rigorous program, youll explore the theory and practice of clinical translational science that could lead to significant clinical discoveries that move across the translational continuum. Submit, as an attachment to your online application, your personal statement which should be 2-3 pages in length and should include:
Clearly indicate you are applying for the PhD in Clinical Translational Science program
Your reason for seeking admission
Detailed description of your research interests
Your relevant research experience, if any
A summary of how the program will enhance your ability to achieve your career goals and conduct independent, investigator-initiated clinical and translational research in your area of interest
Three recommendation letters dated within the 6 months of application submission, either through the online application's recommendation forms or three individually unopened sealed envelopes. Letters of recommendation must be signed, dated and on institutional letterhead.
Letters must be at least 2 pages in length
Recommender must indicate they are recommending the student for the PhD in Clinical Translational Science program
Recommender must indicate why they are recommending the student, listing any skill, research experience, trait, etc., the student has that will endorse them for the PhD program. Examples should be included.
